WE ARE LOOKING FOR

onX is looking for a talented Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic startup and play a critical role in helping onX grow. 

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the Recruitment team and maintain an awesome hiring experience for all. This person will manage the interview process by coordinating and scheduling remote, onsite, and phone interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and the interview team. This person will also serve as the subject matter expert for our applicant tracking system, ClearCompany, in order to continuously improve our processes and practices. This position will report to the Recruiting Manager.

LOCATION

At this time, our strong preference is for someone to perform this role near one of our offices either in Missoula or Bozeman, Montana. The position is considered a hybrid role, where part of the work can be performed from a home office. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Essential Job Duties)

  • Be the "front door" for all candidates, crafting an awesome experience for candidates from start to finish

  • Efficiently coordinate and schedule phone, video, and virtual interviews for candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams

  • Respond in a professional and efficient manner to inquiries from candidates, recruiters and hiring managers for questions related to the hiring process

  • Act as liaison between recruitment, hiring managers and candidates along with other key areas of the business

  • Collaborate with the Recruiting team to proactively improve and streamline processes

  • Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date

  • Serve as the “owner” of the applicant tracking system for the recruiting team to assist with troubleshooting/problem solving

  • Process all candidate background checks while always maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion

  • Conduct candidate reference checks and employment verifications 

  • Support recruitment with seasonal career fairs including registering and preparation for participating in career fairs (monitor onX inventory, reserve booth items, ensure everything is organized for the Recruiter to attend)

  • Multi-task and effectively prioritize and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Support with recruiting activities, including sourcing and interviewing, as assigned by the

  • Recruiting Manager during times of high volume hiring activity

  • Additional Ad Hoc duties as assigned by the Recruiting Manager 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two (2) or more years of human resources, office administration, scheduling, or related experience required.
  • Detail-oriented. You have exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • Skilled Multi-Tasker. You're able to balance several tasks at once and can easily pivot as priorities change
  • A strong communicator. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Innovative. You're a natural problem solver who thinks outside the box
  • Proactive. Take initiative, follow-through, and work with a sense of urgency
  • Scrappy. You're someone who's self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Tech-savvy. You use technology to enhance the candidate experience and improve recruiting efficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related preferred
  • Passion for the outdoors
