Senior Manager, Vertical Marketing - Offroad

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As Senior Manager, Offroad Marketing at onX, your duties are to build and amplify onX’s reputation in the off-road industry as a first-class company, product, and business partner. As the strategic and managing leader of the onX Offroad Marketing organization, you are responsible for the go-to-market plan, product messaging, industry communication, partner relationships, influencer programs, and the successful accomplishment of all team goals. 

For this position, we expect you to be a data-driven, tech-savvy professional with experience leading in mid-size organizations with an in-depth understanding of the outdoor industry and of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You will report to the General Manager of onX Offroad

LOCATION

Missoula, MT or Bozeman, MT preferred (generous relocation assistance available), and remote will be considered on a case-by-case basis with additional expected travel. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Essential Job Duties)

  • Lead onX Offroad to market defining the product value, audience, and messaging as well as the timing and physical, digital, and relational channels for which we focus our resources

  • Inspire and mentor your team to dream big, take on new challenges, work smart, and be accountable to growing the business as they deliver on the objectives and results you determine together

  • Build processes with the team to ensure organization, learning, efficiency, and data-driven decisions

  • Manage budget and expenditures for events, hard goods, partnerships, media, and ambassadors

  • Constantly analyze all aspects of the activities, content, relationships, and channels to optimize ROI

  • Collaborate with customer care, creative, brand marketing, and UA teams to align strategies for projects and campaigns

  • Work closely with the GM of Offroad, the VP of Marketing, and the vertical marketing leaders to innovate and execute go-to-market and customer acquisition strategies 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience directly managing a go-to-market team in a relatable industry
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about the off-roading industry. This means you either have relevant professional experience in the off-road industry or you’ve made off-roading an important part of your personal life. You understand this industry and know what brings value to this community.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University or equivalent experience
  • You are a leader with a demonstrable background in developing strategy and guiding your team to accomplish aggressive goals
  • Data-driven and analytical with demonstrable experience in management by numbers and an ROI focused approach
  • Positive attitude and respectful approach to all people and relationships
  • Proven experience in digital and technical marketing
  • Demonstrable experience executing major business initiatives and revenue goals within a matrixed organization 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-platform analytics proficiency
  • Experience showing ROI with pro staff programs, partnerships, & social content
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Superior writing/communication skills
  • Experience using any mobile marketing platforms for engagement and retention
  • Self-starter, with the ability to find solutions for unstructured problems
  • Statistical and critical thinking skills
  • Well organized and efficient
  • Experience in growth through hypotheses testing and data backed decisions
