WE ARE LOOKING FOR

onX is seeking a Videographer/Editor with a passion for the outdoors to create, concept, shoot, and edit videos from ideation to completion to support our video and content series across our product offerings. This position requires someone who is highly skilled in videography, editing, and photography (as needed) through shooting and editing narrative-style content videos and series, hosted videos, and product-focused paid advertising pieces. Success in the role will require an individual with strong camera operation skills, an eye for principal photography, storytelling mastery, and editing capabilities. This individual will be able to work concurrently on large-scale projects in addition to acting quickly against day-to-day execution video pieces. This position will report to the Creative Director. 

LOCATION

Missoula, MT required, with generous relocation assistance available and flexibility with the relocation timeline. Highly qualified candidates within a driveable distance to Missoula will be considered as well. 

WHO YOU ARE

  • A creative visionary with the ability to see a project from concept to delivery
  • Ability to organize and manage several large projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
  • Deep knowledge of digital video production with experience in all aspects of videography, editing, and post-production
  • Ability to work closely with a motion designer to bring added elements to finished projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Essential Job Duties)

  • Create high-quality, compelling, and impactful video assets that drive engagement and conversion across web, social, and video.

  • Work closely with the content/creative team and marketing teams to fulfill the video needs of each of our products.

  • End to End video production; both shoot and edit already-shot footage.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to make sure the video creative supports their goals.

  • Help to maintain an organized library of photo/video assets for use across the company.

  • Edit our creative to tell a compelling on-brand narrative.

  • Maintain our visual standards for video and still photos. Experiment with shooting, lighting, and retouching to help us continue to develop and improve our style.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Five (5) or more years or more of relevant experience in video production
  • Portfolio of Work: Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to create effective videos and content series for both brand awareness as well as direct marketing (activation) needs; work presented clearly details your role and contribution to the projects
  • Prior experience with a DAM system is a plus.
  • Adobe Proficiency: Experience and proficiency in the Adobe CC Suite (Premiere and After Effects)
  • Strong Relationship Management Skills: The designer will work with internal teams and creative staff to ensure high-quality work
  • Collaborative Spirit: You love to work with strategists and writers to create highly engaging and effective visuals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for the outdoors: Experienced in various outdoor activities
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related experience
